Mandatory Movies All Student Actors MUST watch

"For me, film-making combines everything. That's the reason I've made cinema my life's work. In films painting and literature, theatre and music come together. But a film is still a film." Akira Kurosaw

Taken from a great master himself, student actors should have a wide repertoire of knowledge in films of many genres and acting styles. Since it's your 2 week break, the weekend class students are advised to watch the following movies to help them in their acting. The list of the movies are below:

Seven Samurai

Shaolin Soccer

My Fair Lady

North by Northwest

Shindler's List

Talk to Her

The Postman Always Rings Twice

Doctor Zhivago

West Side Story

Gone With The Wind

Final Fantasy

Dr.No

Animatrix, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix

Artificial Intelligence

The King & I

Jurassic Park

Minority Report

Chicago

Charlie's Angels

Star Wars Episode II

The movies listed above encompass all possible genres and acting styles: comedy, action, horror, adventure etc. It is MANDATORY to watch all the movies listed above, and try your best to get them. If you don't have them, don't worry. Kindly ask your Class Coordinator to get them for you in your coming class this 5th July (Saturday).
